LCL Style Series: 3 Ways To Wear Velvet

Today Lindsey, Christian, and I are launching a new style series where we all style a piece or trend 3 different ways. Lindsey came to town last week and thought it would be fun to meet up for drinks (rosé please) and all style this seasons hottest trend, VELVET! We met at Le Méridien Tampa, which is soo beautiful and is covered in marble–umm, yes please! These girls are so amazing and we all have so much in common. After early drinks, we headed to dinner at Ulele and literally closed the place down. Needless to say, we had the best time!!

Velvet is such a fun & easy trend to incorporate into your wardrobe. I kept my outfit pretty simple with flares and a white button up, and then dressed it up with velvet accessories. This  velvet crossbody bag is such a steal at only $35!! Skinny scarves can be worn so many different ways– this one is a little on the long side which allowed me to do a little weave design. Lindsey wore the cutest  shirt dress,  tights, and gorgeous  Stuart Weitzman velvet booties. These boots are so chic and make your legs look incredibly long. Christian also went with a chic black and white look wearing  edgy leather leggings, a  white tank, and a  velvet bomber jacket. 
There are so many amazing velvet pieces out there that you could mix in with your current wardrobe. I hope this gave you some inspiration to wear velvet this season! We are heading to Dallas next weekend for our next style series, so be sure to follow along to see what we curate next!
