Costa d’Este Beach Resort Vacation

Hello vacation season….
The hubs and I took our first trip of the year to the BEAUTIFUL  Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa in Vero Beach, FL. Vero Beach is about a 2.5 hour drive from Tampa. Not very far for us, but it was such a nice little getaway! Costa d’Este is owned by Emilio and Gloria Estefan and is beachy modern and chic–think Miami style but Hamptons vibes. Vero Beach is a very quiet little town so it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s great for a romantic getaway, family trip, or even just a fun girls weekend!

Costa d’Este was kind enough to offer an exclusive deal for all of YOU. Just in time for vacation season & spring break! You can save 20% on room rates, get daily breakfast for two, 20% savings at the spa, and a complimentary room upgrade when available. Definitely keep them in mind for upcoming trips!!

THE RESORT
Costa d’Este is an exclusive beachfront resort that has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The resort has a spa, fitness center, Beachside Cabana Bar, oceanfront infinity pool, and an incredible restaurant called The Wave Kitchen & Bar. From the moment we arrive we were greeted by the nicest and most accommodating staff. Everyone was very friendly which is so refreshing.
Oh and they’re pet friendly. We saw the cutest pups while we were there.
There’s really no reason to leave the resort…
But if you want to explore a little, downtown shopping is right across the street. We walked around and peeked in some of the shops before dinner–the downtown area is so cute and peaceful. We honestly didn’t move our car at all while we were there. Everything you need is within walking distance.
There’s also a really neat golf cart service called  Beachside Ride. It’s FREE! They provide transportation to local shops, restaurants, and hotels.

THE ROOM
Our room was on the 5th floor and had a gorgeous pool and beach view.  The room had a super comfy king bed and was very spacious. Plus, we had a private balcony and huge doors to let in the sea breeze. I spent a lot of time out on the patio taking in the scenery. We even slept with the doors open at night and listened to the waves crashing on the beach. Sooo peaceful!
I wish I could do that every night!!
This was the view from our room!
THE SPA
Costa d’Este has a full service spa and it is amazinggg! The hubs and I scheduled a couples massage on our first morning there. We got the Sand, Salt, & Sea Massage and I HIGHLY recommend it. They served us fresh fruit and drinks in our own private cabana when we finished our massages.  The spa room was so beautiful and such a relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start our vacay.
The fruit was incredible!
(I kinda wish I had some now. ha!)
THE BEACH
The ocean is just steps away where they have cabanas and king size beach beds with the nicest beach staff. They even have beach side service which was delish and really fast. We ordered guac & chips and a burger–and a few yummy cocktails!
Ahhh vacation!!!
They also have stand up paddle boards, ocean kayaking, and snorkeling rental. We were going to kayaking one morning but it was a little too windy. Maybe next time!

THE POOL
The infinity pool and spa do not disappoint! It was so nice walking down to the pool in the morning to find fresh towel laid out on all of the chairs and fun music playing. They have the Beachside Cabana Bar that has everything you could want. They also offered frozen grapes while we laid in the sun–yum! The hot tub was super nice at night since it was a little chilly with the sea breeze.
There are also beautiful lights and a fire pit, which is so fun at night. We made some new friends out there the first night. They were getting married on the beach at the resort while we were there–such a sweet couple.

THE FOOD
We had appetizers and drinks by the fire pit one night. The spread was unreal. We had crab croquettes, ceviche, tuna poke, and calamari. Then we washed it down with a hibiscus margarita and a Costa signature pineapple mojito. Y’all it was SOOO good!!! We finished off the night with moscato and dessert. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and the food was unbelievably good–we even got to meet the chef! So fun!
We also go to experience a 4 course dinner at The Wave. Walter Ruiz, the Food & Beverage manager,  set up a wine paring with each dish. It was such a treat! He was so knowledgeable about the food and wines–we were so impressed and definitely learned a thing or two.
The food was soooo incredible!
The Wave also serves breakfast & lunch, and has a special Sunday brunch with endless mimosas–yes please!!!

SEAPLANE TOUR

One of the highlights of our trip was taking a  Treasure Coast Seaplane tour. From the moment we met the owners, Michael & Sheena Hoover, we knew we were going to have a great time. They are seriously the NICEST people you will ever meet! We took a tour over the coastline and got to see dolphins, sharks and we even saw a sea turtle. It was incredible. They flew us over a ship wreck too which was really neat. One of the coolest parts was when they landed the plan on a huge lake. We all got out of the plane and stood on the pontoons. The view was amazing! Taking off and landing on water is such a fun experience–you just have to do it!
OUR TRIP
We had the absolute best time at  Costa d’Este and already want to go back. It was such a fun and relaxing getaway–it was much needed after the busy holidays! The resort was soo beautiful and luxurious and the staff were all sooo incredibly nice–we felt like royalty staying there.
